Father kills son, daughter in Ampara

A father has hacked to death his 29 year-old son and a 14 year-old girl in the Periyaneelavanai area in Ampara this morning. Police said both children are disabled individuals. The father had attempted to commit suicide by slitting his neck with a sharp weapon which he had used to kill his son and daughter. He was admitted in a critical condition to the Kalmunai Hospital.
