Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa has refused to comment on reports he will form a new political party.Speaking to reporters after meeting a group of lawyers, Rajapaksa said that the Sri Lanka Freedom Party was given a mandate at the last election to defeat the United National Party (UNP).
