Former Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka alleged that a deal between President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and former Minister Tiran Alles has prevented the arrest of former IGP Deshabandu Tennakoon.

He told a meeting in Homagama that Anura Kumara will not take any action against Tiran Alles whatever frauds or any murders he commits.

"Why has Deshabandu been not arrested? Tiran Alles is behind him. Anura Kumara will not take any action against Tiran Alles whatever frauds he commits, maybe E Visa or E-passport, or any murder he commits. That is his deal," he said.
