Bid to assassinate TNA MP

Four former LTTE cadres, allegedly involved in the conspiracy to assassinate Tamil National Alliance (TNA) MP M. A. Sumanthiran, were further remanded until 22 March by Kilinochchi Magistrate A. Anandaraja, yesterday (13). According to the investigations conducted by the Terrorist Investigation Division (TID), one suspect, Kannan Anojan Vetri is residing in Australia, and an international arrest warrant was issued for his arrest.


Japan to provide vessel with underwater sonar
