Electricity tariff to be reduced by 21.9%: PUCSL

The Public Utilities Commission said that the electricity tariff will be reduced by 21.9 percent. While addressing the media they said for the electricity consumers using less than 30 units, the current amount of Rs.12 per unit will be reduced to Rs. 8. Also, the electricity tariff for consumers using between 60 and 90 units will be reduced by 30 percent.
